    JOB VACANCY – RESEARCH ASSISTANT / DATA ANALYST

    Job Summary:
    The Research Assistant / Data Analyst will play a key role in conducting research, analyzing data, and contributing to evidence-based programme development. The successful candidate will support ongoing projects by generating insights, preparing analytical reports, and assisting in programme execution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct research and data analysis to support organizational projects
    • Prepare analytical reports and present findings in a clear and structured manner
    • Provide programme support and contribute to implementation activities
    • Assist in the design and execution of research methodologies (quantitative and qualitative)
    • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and proper documentation of data

    Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

    • Strong understanding of Nigeria’s democratic institutions and governance landscape
    • Familiarity with key governance and civic engagement issues
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
    • Experience with analytical tools such as SPSS, STATA, or Power BI is an added advantage
    • Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
    • Good knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research methods
