    Role Overview

    We are seeking a proactive and community-driven Liaison / Stakeholder Engagement Officer to support engagement with local stakeholders, government actors, and community members. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth project implementation, feedback collection, and community representation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support coordination and implementation of stakeholder engagement activities
    • Engage with community, LGA, and state-level stakeholders for project support
    • Monitor activities and report challenges or gaps for timely adjustments
    • Collect and share feedback from stakeholders to improve programme delivery
    • Document project impact through reports, case studies, and success stories
    • Represent TBSF in community and stakeholder meetings
    • Track and report incidents, including security or contextual changes
    • Ensure timely, accurate, and well-documented reporting
    • Promote consistent stakeholder engagement approaches across communities

    🎓

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in liaison, public relations, or stakeholder engagement
    • Must be an indigene of Borno or Yobe State
    • Strong communication and writing skills
    • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal abilities
    • Organized, proactive, and community-oriented
    • Must speak English and at least one local language (Hausa/Kanuri)
    • Must have a working laptop
    • Friendly personality with strong understanding of child safeguarding

    Desirable Skills

    • Ability to multitask and respond quickly to field realities
    • Strong presentation and community engagement skills
    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
    • Experience working in humanitarian or development contexts
