Overview
The UKI Value & Promotional Strategy Manager at Deliveroo is responsible for translating central initiatives and promotions into high-impact campaigns for the UKI market. This role includes end-to-end ownership of the UKI promotional calendar and defining value strategies for customers and merchants, while working cross-functionally to optimize promotional investments for business growth. The position requires a hybrid work arrangement, with three days a week in the Manchester office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage UKI local promotions and merchant offers, partnering with central functions to identify market needs.
- Oversee the reporting cycle, delivering performance analysis and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Advocate for the voice of customers and partners in promotional strategies, collaborating with various teams.
- Work with Insights and Data Science to understand customer needs and research requirements.
- Adapt global strategies for the UKI market, ensuring alignment with regional priorities.
- Define and implement promotional strategies to meet objectives and KPIs.
- Align promotional plans with various marketing teams to ensure effective execution.
- Develop high-value discount, vouchering, and offer initiatives for local engagement and ROI.
- Pitch promotional programmes to secure buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor activity to refine regional strategies.
- Own the Go To Market strategy for UKI promotions.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in a marketing or commercial role, with a focus on value/promotional campaigns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Experience presenting ideas to senior leadership.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with proficiency in analytical tools.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on improvement opportunities.
- Self-starter attitude, comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Proven track record of delivering results efficiently.
