The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) is accepting applications for its prestigious Internship Program 2026 in Geneva, which offers students and recent graduates hands-on experience in intellectual property, innovation, law, and international policy.

Eligibility

WIPO welcomes applicants from diverse geographical backgrounds and all genders who meet the following criteria:

Undergraduate Internships (Category I):
- First-level degree (bachelor’s) obtained within the last two years or in their final year of studies
- Students pursuing a master’s degree or needing an internship to complete their degree
- Proficiency in English and/or French
Graduate Internships (Category II):
- Holders of a master’s degree obtained within the last two years or pursuing an additional degree
- Proficiency in English and/or French

Candidates from a variety of disciplines are encouraged to apply, including Law, International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Statistics, Information Technology (IT), Technical Cooperation, Project Management, Administration, Translation, Marketing and Communications.

Monthly Stipend: Up to CHF 2,170 for graduate interns and CHF 1,645 for undergraduate interns
Travel Reimbursement: Up to CHF 1,500 for nationals of developing, least developed, or transitioning countries

Leave and Holidays: 10 official holidays and 2.5 days of annual leave per month
