Overview

The World Trade Organization offers several internship opportunities for postgraduate students aimed at increasing diversity within the organization.

Eligibility

Applicants must be at least 21 years old for the WTO Internship Programme.
Must have completed undergraduate studies.
Must be enrolled in a master’s programme with at least one year completed or have completed a master’s degree and pursuing further studies or completed a master’s or PhD within the past 2 years.
Applicants for the China LDC and Accessions Programme must be under 30 years old and from developing or least developed countries.
Applicants for the WTO Support Programme for Doctoral Studies must be in the final stage of their PhD.

Benefits

WTO Internship Programme: Daily allowance of 60 Swiss francs, travel costs not covered.
China LDC and Accessions Programme: Daily allowance of 90 Swiss francs, travel expenses covered, additional 100 Swiss francs per month for health insurance.
WTO Support Programme for Doctoral Studies: Daily allowance of 60 Swiss francs, travel expenses covered.

Applications are submitted through the WTO online platform. Applicants for the China programme must also send an email with their CV and motivation letter.
