    Overview

    This fellowship offers young women the chance to participate in the 2026 Feminist Leadership Accelerator for Change (FLAC), a 12-month programme designed to develop leadership skills and feminist activism.

    Eligibility

    Applicants must:

    • Be between 19 and 25 years old at the time of application.
    • Self-identify as a woman, including all individuals who identify as such.
    • Hold at least a high school certificate, diploma, or undergraduate degree.
    • Live in South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, Botswana, or Zimbabwe.
    • Demonstrate commitment to social justice and feminist values.

    Experience in community leadership, activism, or women’s rights advocacy is beneficial, and young women from rural communities and with disabilities are particularly encouraged to apply.

    How to Apply

    • A CV of no more than three pages.
    • A motivation letter stating interest in the fellowship.
