The Youth Advocacy Assistant position is a part-time, fixed-term opportunity with Human Rights Watch under its Student Task Force (STF) programme. Based in Los Angeles, California, the role supports youth-led advocacy initiatives focused on promoting and protecting children’s human rights.
The position runs from August 3, 2026, to May 28, 2027, and requires a commitment of 16 to 27 hours per week. The successful candidate will work closely with the STF Associate Director and broader programme team, contributing to advocacy planning, student engagement, and programme coordination.
