    Solidarités International is recruiting an Administrative Officer to support its operations in Kebbi State. The organization has over 40 years of experience delivering humanitarian assistance in areas such as water, sanitation, hygiene, food security, and livelihoods.

    Main Objective
    Under the supervision of the Administrative Manager, the Administrative Officer will support staff development and ensure smooth HR and finance administrative processes. The role focuses on improving staff capacity, maintaining proper documentation, and ensuring compliance with organizational and donor procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    Employee Administration
    Prepare staff contracts amendments and end of contract documentation
    Maintain complete and accurate HR records and files
    Support staff requests including leave per diem and medical reimbursements
    Update staff data and track salary advances

    Payroll Support
    Verify attendance and payroll variables
    Support payroll processing and payment coordination with finance team

    Recruitment and Training
    Assist in job postings and candidate screening
    Support interview processes and onboarding of new staff
    Identify training needs and help organize staff development activities

    Accounting and Finance
    Maintain cash book and cash box records
    Process payments and advances according to procedures
    Verify supporting documents before recording transactions
    Track daily cash balances and report discrepancies
    Archive financial documents properly

    Reporting and Communication
    Participate in meetings and provide regular updates
    Support staff engagement surveys and reporting
    Ensure proper internal communication within the team

    Qualifications
    BSc or HND in Finance Economics Business Administration Public Administration or related field

    Experience
    Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role with an INGO

    Skills
    Strong knowledge of HR administration payroll and accounting processes
    Experience with record keeping and audit procedures
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    Knowledge of Homere and Saga is an advantage
    Good communication and organizational skills
    Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

    Language
    Fluency in English required
    Knowledge of Hausa is an added advantage
