AEM Developer @Vonage

Overview

Vonage is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Senior AEM Developer to join its digital engineering team. This remote role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom AEM components, templates, and workflows using Java, HTL/Sightly, and Sling Models.
• Build multi-site, multi-lingual, and multi-channel publishing solutions leveraging AEM WCM, DAM, and MSM.
• Guide migration efforts and work with AEM as a Cloud Service and modern deployment pipelines.
• Integrate AEM with third-party systems, including CRM and analytics.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices while mentoring junior developers.
• Troubleshoot application performance and compliance with security standards.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity across the software development lifecycle.
• Engage actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, translating requirements into technical plans.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Deep understanding of the AEM framework, Apache Sling, and JCR.
• Proficiency in Touch UI component development and Dispatcher configuration.
• Advanced skills in Core Java, web services, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.
• Experience with DevOps tools like Maven, Git, and Jenkins.
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
