The Blue Catalyst 2026 Programme is a global innovation platform hosted in Singapore, focused on addressing technical challenges and Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) in the blue carbon sector. It aims to scale high-integrity projects across Asia and beyond, offering a two-week in-person program followed by six months of commercialization and technical support. The program connects project developers, researchers, climate-tech innovators, investors, and corporate partners.
Innovators developing scalable and replicable solutions are sought for challenge areas including Greenhouse Gas (GHG) flux measurement and modelling, geospatial mapping and data integration, biodiversity monitoring, carbon stock modelling, improving sapling mortality, accessing remote or fragmented sites, and community engagement and environmental safeguards. Solutions must demonstrate enterprise scalability, innovative thinking, and be globally relevant with a strong Asia-first focus.
Selected teams receive six months of commercialization and technical support, access to an international network of blue carbon stakeholders with strong regional connections in Southeast Asia, pilot testing and deployment opportunities at WWF-Singapore project sites, strategy sessions, fundraising planning, investor readiness preparation, pitch coaching, an opportunity to pitch to corporates, investors, and industry leaders at Demo Day, dedicated sessions with WWF-Singapore and Hatch Blue teams, and access to a specialized climate-tech investor ecosystem.
