The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) India Scholars Program 2026 offers financial assistance to women pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in engineering, engineering technology, computing, and related technical fields in India. Its goal is to empower female students by reducing financial barriers and encouraging leadership in STEM.

Eligibility

• Identify as women.
• Are enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program in engineering, engineering technology, computing, or a related technical discipline.
• Attend a program accredited by India’s National Board of Accreditation (NBA) or a university with an active SWE Global Affiliate partnership.
• Demonstrate academic commitment and leadership potential.

Benefits

Scholarship amounts range from $1,000 to $20,000 per recipient and can be used toward tuition, fees, living expenses, and educational materials. Scholarships may be renewable.
