UN Women has announced applications for the Junior Professional Officer (JPO) Programme Analyst – Ending Violence Against Women (EVAW) position based in Dakar, Senegal.
The position is offered under the Government of the Netherlands-sponsored JPO Programme and is designed for talented early-career professionals seeking to gain hands-on experience within the United Nations system while contributing to impactful programmes across Africa.
The Programme Analyst will support UN Women’s Ending Violence Against Women (EVAW) Section in West and Central Africa. The role focuses on strengthening regional efforts to prevent and respond to violence against women and girls, supporting flagship initiatives, coordinating partnerships, conducting research, and contributing to advocacy and programme implementation.
The successful candidate will work closely with governments, UN agencies, civil society organizations, donors, and development partners to advance gender equality and women’s rights across the region.
