    About the Organization

    New Incentives is a nonprofit working to reduce child mortality by providing small cash incentives to caregivers, encouraging them to complete their infants’ immunization schedules. The program is implemented in partnership with state health authorities across Nigeria.

    Role Summary

    The Assistant Field Manager supports field operations by overseeing clinic activities, supervising Field Officers, and ensuring smooth cash transfer disbursement to caregivers.

    This role is critical to improving immunization coverage and retention in underserved communities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support Field Managers in implementing program activities at public clinics
    • Oversee cash transfer disbursements to caregivers
    • Supervise Field Officers across assigned locations
    • Ensure high-quality operations and accurate reporting
    • Build strong relationships with clinic staff and stakeholders
    • Monitor immunization coverage and program performance
    • Ensure proper handling and accountability of funds

    🎓

    Requirements

    • Minimum of ND (National Diploma) (preferably in health or sciences)
    • Preferably based in or willing to relocate to Niger, Sokoto, Kebbi, or Zamfara
    • Experience with Nigerian health systems and clinic documentation
    • Strong data collection and analysis skills (health data preferred)
    • High attention to detail and financial accountability
    • Good communication skills (written & verbal)

    Language Requirements

    • Fluent in English
    • Knowledge of Hausa, Nupe, or other local languages (required/advantage depending on location)

    Technical Skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
    • Comfortable using smartphones and digital tools
    • Strong responsiveness via email and phone

    Ideal Candidate

    • Passionate about reducing infant mortality
    • Willing to work in remote clinics (4+ days/week)
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-changing environment
