Overview

The Assistant, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) role is to support the Officer, M/E in implementing the M/E work plan and improve the program/project's quality by collecting and analyzing data on planned interventions.

Key Responsibilities

Apply and adapt existing Global M/E Guidelines, tools, and templates at the relevant stages of the project cycle.
Promote Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) standards within IMC.
Gather qualitative and quantitative data using data collection tools.
Support the M/E department in developing databases for all programs.
Implement field level M/E activities according to the M/E work plan.
Conduct on-site routine data quality audits.
Implement probability and non-probability sampling techniques.
Conduct qualitative data collection and review for discrepancies.

Requirements

Diploma in social sciences, international development, or similar field.
1+ years of experience in data collection and entry with a humanitarian organization.
Highly computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience with database entry and management.
Ability to communicate effectively and work across cultures.
Medium-level English proficiency; high-level proficiency in Hausa.
