Applications are open for the Athena Anchoria Junior Fellowship Programme 2026, a six-month program designed to prepare young Nigerians for meaningful engagement in public policy, governance, and institutional development.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in seminars on policy and institutional analysis.
Engage in supervised research placements.
Receive mentorship in policy writing and editorial development.
Participate in a residential immersion program in Abuja.
Receive applied training in financial literacy and investment.

Requirements

Open to final year undergraduate students, master’s students, and members of the National Youth Service Corps interested in careers in public policy, governance, and research.

Benefits

Selected fellows will gain practical exposure, develop analytical and writing skills, and engage with experts and institutions within Nigeria’s policy landscape. The program runs from April to October 2026 and will select 12 fellows.
