Overview

The B2B Event Marketing Manager role at Instacart is a 6-month contract position focused on overseeing the execution of the company's B2B event calendar during a critical growth period. This role is essential for managing event logistics, vendor relationships, and cross-functional coordination, ensuring a sophisticated representation of Instacart in the B2B sector.

Key Responsibilities

Execute Instacart's B2B event calendar across major tradeshows and executive programs, ensuring every event is delivered on time and within budget.
Produce event creative assets in collaboration with marketing, creative, and sales teams for consistent brand representation.
Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for each event, providing visibility and alignment to stakeholders.
Establish a reporting and measurement framework to capture event performance and inform future investment decisions.
Manage vendor and contract relationships efficiently, handling invoicing and negotiations to facilitate smooth operations.

Requirements

5 to 10 years of B2B event marketing experience.
Hands-on experience with Cannes Lions events.
Proven track record in managing high-profile tradeshows and industry events.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in contract negotiation and vendor invoicing.
Comfortable with administrative duties and operational support.
Able to travel 2 to 4 times during the contract period.
