The CHS Alliance has announced two exciting career opportunities in Nairobi, Kenya, as it establishes a new Engagement and Communications Team aimed at strengthening connections with crisis-affected communities and humanitarian organisations worldwide.
The organisation is recruiting for Head of Engagement (Membership and Communications) and Communications and Content Officer. Both positions are offered under national contracts hosted by a partner NGO and are open to candidates who are legally eligible to work in Kenya.

CHS Alliance is a global alliance of more than 320 humanitarian and development organisations committed to improving the quality, accountability, and effectiveness of aid. The majority of its members are national and local NGOs working directly with communities affected by crises.
The creation of a dedicated engagement and communications team in Nairobi reflects the Alliance’s commitment to bringing its work closer to the people and organisations it serves across the humanitarian sector.
The new Nairobi-based team will play a central role in strengthening collaboration across CHS Alliance’s global membership, supporting communication between members, promoting learning opportunities, and ensuring that humanitarian organisations remain connected and informed.
Successful candidates will contribute to enhancing the visibility of the Alliance’s work while supporting organisations that are committed to improving humanitarian quality and accountability.
The Head of Engagement (Membership and Communications) will lead the Alliance’s membership, communications, and engagement functions.
