The organization is currently recruiting a Prospect Research Analyst to join its Philanthropy Team in a two-year, full-time remote position.

    Opportunity for Philanthropy and Research Professionals

    The Prospect Research Analyst will play a key role in helping Co-Impact expand its global community of funding partners. Reporting to the Associate Director of Philanthropy, the successful candidate will conduct strategic research, analyze donor prospects, support fundraising efforts, and provide critical intelligence to strengthen philanthropic engagement.

    The position is designed for professionals with strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and experience gathering and synthesizing information from multiple sources.

    Key Responsibilities

    The selected candidate will be responsible for a range of prospect research and fundraising support functions, including:

    • Conducting research on potential funding partners and donor prospects
    • Refreshing and updating prospect profiles and intelligence
    • Assessing donor giving capacity, interests, and engagement potential
    • Mapping networks and points of contact for fundraising opportunities
    • Conducting due diligence reviews in line with organizational policies
    • Maintaining accurate donor records within Salesforce
    • Preparing event briefings and prospect profiles for leadership teams
    • Monitoring philanthropic news and relevant sector developments
    • Supporting donor stewardship and fundraising initiatives
    • Improving prospect research workflows and data management systems
    • Assisting with donor-facing materials, presentations, and funding proposals

    The role will also involve supporting senior team members with proposal development and other strategic fundraising activities when required.

    Qualifications and Experience

    Co-Impact is seeking candidates who possess:

    • A bachelor’s degree
    • At least two years of relevant professional experience
    • Strong analytical and research skills
    • Experience synthesizing complex information into concise summaries
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Experience with customer relationship management systems, preferably Salesforce
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Familiarity with AI tools and digital productivity platforms
    • Willingness to travel occasionally

    Fluency in English is required, while additional language skills will be considered an advantage.

    Desired Technical Expertise

    Candidates with experience using professional research and intelligence platforms will be particularly competitive. Preferred experience includes:

    • LexisNexis
    • WealthX
    • LinkedIn Sales Navigator
    • Foundation tax reports and financial disclosures
    • Corporate reports and media monitoring tools
    • Philanthropic prospecting databases
