The Common Good Cyber Fund (CGCF) provides grants to nonprofit organizations that deliver critical services underpinning the Internet’s core infrastructure, offer cybersecurity protection to high-risk civil society actors, strengthen digital security ecosystems globally, and address gaps caused by chronic underfunding of essential cybersecurity capabilities. The program focuses on systemic impact, supporting infrastructure and services that protect broader communities.
The initiative prioritizes efforts that support civil society organizations, journalists, human rights defenders, dissidents, and vulnerable and at-risk communities.
The Common Good Cyber Fund provides grants. Funding is supported by a mix of government donors, philanthropic partners, and the Internet Society.
