The post holder is expected to ensure consistency across NP’s communication channels by maintaining workflows, preparing content drafts, organizing digital materials, and supporting publishing schedules across both social media platforms and the organisational website.

This position is classified as non-exempt under FLSA regulations and is intended for candidates at entry level with foundational experience in communications systems and digital content management.

    • Supporting translation workflows to extend multilingual reach
    • Drafting and preparing social media assets using branded templates
    • Editing short video content, including trimming, subtitling, and resizing for platform requirements
    • Uploading press clips, blogs, and publications to maintain an updated and organized website
    • Monitoring incoming engagement across platforms, including comments and messages, and escalating as needed
    • Collecting and compiling analytics from social media and web dashboards to support performance reporting
    • Monitoring breaking news and media trends to identify opportunities aligned with NP’s mandate
    • Supporting updates to the Master Media List and consolidating contacts within Cision
    • Tracking media outreach and coverage records in Salesforce
    • Contributing to the production of regular newsletters highlighting media mentions and humanitarian news involving NP
    • Performing additional communications and administrative duties as required by evolving team needs

These responsibilities position the role as a critical operational support function within NP’s broader global communications ecosystem.
