Compliance Analytics Associate @Blockchain

Overview

Blockchain is a fast-growing global crypto company that helps millions safely access cryptocurrency. They are looking for a Compliance Analytics Associate to support their compliance operations, focusing on transaction monitoring and blockchain investigations.

Key Responsibilities

• Use Chainalysis to investigate wallet addresses, transaction histories, and exposure to high-risk entities.
• Define controls covering wallet screening, sanctions exposure, high-risk jurisdictions, and blockchain-related risk indicators.
• Investigate Chainalysis alerts and determine next steps based on customer profiles and transaction activity.
• Support the development of transaction monitoring rules and identify emerging crypto financial crime typologies.
• Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations regarding the travel rule.
• Provide guidance and informal training to team members on Chainalysis and blockchain investigations.
• Work with Engineering and Product teams to build automated workflows around compliance functions.
• Contribute to the compliance technology architecture and stay informed on emerging AI capabilities in financial crime detection.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in Compliance, AML, Financial Crime, KYC, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience with Chainalysis and blockchain transaction investigations.
• Experience conducting KYC/CDD, EDD, and transaction monitoring reviews.
• Strong analytical skills, good judgement, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience or strong interest in AI/LLM tools for improving compliance work.
• ICA, ACAMS, CAMS or other relevant compliance qualification.
