Overview
Neo4j is looking for a Consulting Engineer to work closely with enterprise customers in Latin America, implementing graph-powered solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will partner with customer engineering teams and provide technical expertise, from design to deployment of Neo4j implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to Neo4j implementations across the full project lifecycle, from initial design to production roll-out.
- Act as the technical subject matter expert, providing hands-on guidance and leadership.
- Design and implement graph data models that represent complex relationships.
- Architect and build solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Support modern data and AI architectures with structured graph data.
- Collaborate with customer AI and data teams for integration into modern orchestration frameworks.
- Provide best practices guidance for Data Engineering and data ingestion patterns.
- Develop solution architectures addressing the technical requirements of projects.
- Translate complex technical concepts for customer engineers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to solution proposals and technical recommendations.
- Train and mentor customer teams on Neo4j best practices.
- Work with sales and support teams for successful customer outcomes.
- Travel may be required depending on customer engagement needs.
Requirements
- Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-class applications.
- Strong experience in data modelling, with familiarity across relational, NoSQL, or graph databases.
- Experience in software architecture and modern application development environments.
- Practical experience in data engineering and optimizing data for search and analytics.
- Competence in at least one of the following: Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, or C#.
- Experience deploying applications on platforms such as Linux, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with source control and development workflows using Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional organization.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for new technologies.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
