Overview
Twilio is seeking a Staff Security Engineer specialized in Threat Hunting to join their remote team in the US. This role focuses on solving complex technical-security challenges within a collaborative team environment, developing scalable processes and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily operations tasks including on-call duties and development of detective tooling.
- Align the Detection and Response vision and strategy with the team.
- Collaborate to solve challenges related to threat actors and activities.
- Identify areas for improvement within the Incident Response program.
- Research technology and conduct architecture reviews to enhance security defenses.
- Build systems and services to simplify complex security problems.
- Develop positive relationships with internal customers to facilitate solutions.
- Provide mentorship and support for team members' career development.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in security engineering within a production-cloud environment.
- Expertise in security issues and technologies, including AI Agents and workflows.
- Ability to utilize AI for complex threat hunting activities.
- Experience with the MITRE ATLAS framework for AI threats.
- Knowledge of service-oriented architectures and security tools in cloud environments.
- Experience with SIEM platforms and SOAR tools.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience in AWS, GCP, or other large cloud platforms.
