Key Responsibilities

• Ship full-stack features with measurable product impact.
• Provide substantive code review and architectural feedback.
• Serve as a first responder for production issues during working hours, including triage and root cause analysis.
• Improve the team's engineering practices, documentation, and tooling.
• Translate product requirements into a technical approach and communicate the reasoning behind it.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in website development using PHP and MySQL.
• Experience with complex web applications and various services and APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of WordPress development, data modeling, and infrastructure.
• Proficiency with semantic HTML, responsive CSS, and modern design patterns.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in English at a professional level.
• Experience with Laravel and AWS is a plus.
• Advanced understanding of modern web app architecture and fundamentals.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of developer tooling and unit testing.
• Experience with REST APIs and relational databases.
