Overview

The role of Marketing Financial Manager at Twilio involves driving end-to-end operational budget management, financial forecasting, and strategic decision support across Twilio’s global Marketing organization. Twilio is a remote-first company focused on innovative communication solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Marketing’s total OPEX budget, overseeing headcount/payroll modeling and detailed program spend tracking across multiple Marketing functions.
• Drive strategic financial planning, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial modeling across the Marketing organization.
• Lead in-quarter budget pacing with Marketing leadership to maintain spend discipline and reallocate funds to priority initiatives.
• Collaborate with Accounting on month-end accruals and procurement processes.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and ROI evaluations for strategic programs and vendor renewals.
• Modernize forecasting workflows using FP&A systems and automation tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of progressive corporate finance, FP&A, or strategic finance experience, preferably in a technology or enterprise SaaS environment.
• Experience managing high-volume OPEX program budgets and headcount forecasting.
• Ability to work independently with senior leaders to drive budget accountability.
• Advanced financial modeling skills and experience with enterprise FP&A platforms.
