Overview
Flexport is seeking a Customs Associate to join their customs operations team, ensuring the smooth movement of goods into Canada and supporting clients in achieving compliance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and submit customs entries for high profile clients.
- Digitally prepare and submit all documentation required for goods to clear with CBSA.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all regulations and procedures of the CBSA and Participating Government Agencies (PGA).
- Review and organize incoming documents to ensure compliance with CBSA and PGA reporting requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service support to clients, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Learn and follow global customs laws, regulations, and trade agreements to ensure compliance.
- Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of customs compliance.
Requirements
- CCS Designation.
- Good understanding of CARM.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- An obsession with client happiness.
- Courage to challenge the status quo.
- Understanding of international trade and customs regulations.
- Familiarity with CBSA product classification and rulings.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including G Suite applications.

- Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
