Overview
The Data Entry Officer at Moniepoint Inc. is responsible for the accurate entry and maintenance of customer accounts and product information on the Moniebook platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Input and update merchant data (products, SKUs, pricing, inventory, customer profiles)
- Process bulk uploads via Excel/CSV files
- Maintain data standards and naming conventions
- Prepare merchant accounts before onboarding
- Review submitted templates for errors or missing fields
- Assist with catalogue setup, tax configurations, and payment settings
- Identify and correct errors, duplicates, and outdated records
- Cross-check data across CRM, POS, and spreadsheets
- Report anomalies for resolution
- Maintain logs of data entry and corrections
- Document recurring issues and solutions
- Suggest workflow improvements
- Support onboarding, account, and support teams with data requests
- Coordinate with teams to resolve missing data quickly
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience in data entry or data operations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
- Familiarity with CRM or POS tools
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Experience with CSV imports and data migration (preferred)
- Knowledge of retail or inventory systems (preferred)
- Experience supporting onboarding or customer success teams (preferred)
- Must be based in Taraba State
