Overview
Twilio is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst who is curious and action-oriented, to support its North American Go-to-Market motion. The role involves broad cross-functional collaboration to manage commercial agreements while optimizing financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze deal economics for standard and non-standard agreements, evaluating pricing, discounting, term lengths, and gross margin impact.
- Partner with Sales to structure commercially sound deals in line with financial guardrails.
- Build and maintain financial models and pricing scenarios for deal requests.
- Manage the Deal Desk operational workflow in Salesforce/CPQ, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Establish relationships across Legal, Billing Operations, Finance, and Sales to streamline deal processes.
- Educate Sales and GTM teams on internal policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Sales and Legal for non-standard contract language in Order Forms.
- Identify recurring deal patterns and contribute to continuous improvement of workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated analytical and financial skills with an understanding of core financial concepts.
- Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and experience in building financial models.
- Diligent and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple requests under deadlines.
- A self-starter with a proactive attitude and high integrity.
