Dedicated Service Advisor @Gusto

Overview

The Dedicated Service Advisor at Gusto acts as the primary contact for support inquiries, enhancing user experiences and serving as a subject matter expert for Gusto’s core products. This role involves guiding customers through product features, providing proactive education and support, and advocating for customers internally.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the customer journey by building trust and providing support through various communication channels.
• Act as a dedicated advisor for payroll and benefits inquiries.
• Proactively connect with customers to understand their business needs and preferences.
• Identify churn risks and deliver solutions to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer concerns.
• Expand critical thinking skills and creatively problem-solve across the business.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance research and communication.

Requirements

• 6+ years of customer experience, including 1+ years in Payroll and 2+ years in account management.
• Proven ability to support customers and drive their success through expert guidance.
• Strong communication skills for complex subjects, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience with Salesforce, Zoom/Google Meets, Google Suite, and scheduling tools.
• Ability to balance multiple high-priority tasks effectively.
• Understanding of churn identification and retention strategies.
• Demonstrated AI fluency in a customer-facing role.

Benefits

All full-time employees receive competitive base pay, benefits, and equity (RSUs). Cash compensation for this role ranges from $27.65/hr to $35.02/hr in Phoenix, depending on location, experience, and expertise.

Location

This position is remote, with specific office expectations for employees in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City.
