Overview

The Delivery Engineer III role focuses on post-sales onboarding and ensuring data integrity for customers, facilitating the integration of Mixpanel into their data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and data health for strategic clients, enhancing data quality and tech stack integration.
• Align with pre-sales teams to define business goals and guide data architecture.
• Engage with customers’ teams for technical onboarding and optimize Mixpanel deployments.
• Deliver technical services including data architecture consultations and change management best practices.
• Create scalable data governance practices and handle data optimization projects.
• Manage project timelines and address unexpected issues while executing deliverables.
• Collaborate with technical partners on data optimization and onboarding projects.
• Serve as a technical sponsor for engagements with Mixpanel’s product and engineering teams.
• Build AI automations for data management at scale.
• Consult with customers on integrating workflows with Mixpanel data.

Requirements

• Proficiency in data querying and transformation tools (SQL, dbt, Python, BI tools).
• Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses (Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure).
• Experience with product analytics implementation methods (SDKs, CDPs, Event Streaming).
• Ability to manage complex projects across diverse client stakeholders.
• Experience embedding AI into workflows and consulting on AI/data strategies.
• Strong customer success, consulting, and technical project management background.
• Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills.
• Eager to learn new technologies and adapt to customer needs.
