DevOps Lead (FedRAMP) @Orca Security

Overview

The role of DevOps Lead (FedRAMP) involves owning Orca's FedRAMP environment, covering infrastructure, authorization, and relationship management with relevant agencies and assessors. This position requires a hands-on approach in a senior engineering capacity, leading the development and maintenance of a federal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate the federal environment in AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and GCP, including all associated tasks such as writing infrastructure code and setting standards.
• Design automation to ensure compliance is an integral feature of systems management.
• Lead the FedRAMP program, performing continuous monitoring, managing authorization artifacts, and interfacing with FedRAMP PMO.
• Represent Orca to federal customers and facilitate communication between technical teams and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure with production ownership.
• Hands-on experience in a FedRAMP authorized system.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, particularly AWS GovCloud.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Strong automation skills using Python or similar languages.
• Fluency in NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Location
