Overview

Pinterest is seeking a Director, Marketing Technology & Innovation who will lead a hybrid team within the Marketing, Creative, and Communications organization. This role involves collaborating closely with teams focused on AI solutions and platform development to drive innovation and improve the marketing technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI Solutions & Platform and Tools: Own the AI roadmap for Marketing and oversee the development of solutions across various initiatives.
• Own & Evolve the MarTech Stack: Manage the strategy, technical selection, and integration of the marketing tech ecosystem, ensuring system connectivity and compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Embed AI Across the Marketing Stack: Integrate AI within the marketing processes, optimizing workflows and enhancing automation.
• Operate as an Executive Thought Leader: Represent Pinterest's vision for MarTech, influencing leadership and external partners.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years in technical leadership roles, particularly in MarTech.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience in API integrations, server-side tracking, and CMS ecosystems.
• Direct experience with AI implementation and working closely with marketing organizations.
• Ability to coach and develop team members, promoting a learning culture.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders.

Benefits

Salary range of $192,929 — $397,206 USD; the role is eligible for equity.

Location

This role is remote within the United States, with occasional in-office collaboration required 1-2 times per quarter.
