    Overview

    The Dorothy Njemanze Foundation is seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Research Consultant and Field Enumerator for a participatory social audit project focused on documenting women's experiences.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop research framework tools and methodology.
    • Train and supervise field enumerators.
    • Conduct surveys, interviews, and discussions with community groups.
    • Analyze data and prepare state-specific reports.
    • Support the development of Citizens Charters of Demands.
    • Facilitate stakeholder validation sessions.
    • Administer questionnaires and collect field data.
    • Record and submit daily reports.
    • Support focus group discussions and interviews.
    • Ensure ethical and accurate data collection.

    Requirements

    • Research Consultant: Minimum 5 years experience in research or participatory assessments.
    • Strong background in gender governance, social accountability, or community development.
    • Proven data collection, analysis, and report writing skills.
    • Familiarity with local context and residency in selected state.
    • Field Enumerator: Minimum OND, HND, or Bachelor Degree in relevant field.
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
    • Experience in field research.
    • Ability to communicate in local languages.
    • Strong interpersonal and community engagement skills.

    Benefits

    • Available slots: 2 positions for Research Consultant (1 per State) and 12 positions for Field Enumerator (6 per State).

    Location

    Imo State and Niger State, Nigeria.
