Overview

Malaria Consortium is seeking a Social and Behavior Change (SBCC) Consultant to support the 2026 Azithromycin (AZM) Mass Drug Administration (MDA) campaign in Adamawa State.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide state-level technical assistance and oversight for SBCC activities during the AZM MDA campaign.
• Develop context-specific SBC strategies.
• Facilitate Training of Trainers (ToT) for health workers and community mobilizers.
• Design and execute localized media plans.
• Support LGA teams to identify local malaria champions.
• Monitor community engagement using state-specific tools.
• Document activities and submit post-campaign reports.
• Ensure SBC interventions are effectively implemented and evaluated.
• Submit detailed consultancy reports within seven days after campaign completion.

Requirements

• First degree in Social Sciences or related fields.
• At least three years post-graduation experience.
• Prior experience with AZM or similar public health campaigns.
• Knowledge of malaria prevention and treatment.
• Excellent leadership, training, supervisory, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Prior experience working with national or state health ministries is an added advantage.
