Email Deliverability Consultant @Iterable

Overview

Iterable is the AI customer engagement platform focused on providing tools for enterprise-scale success. The Email Deliverability Consultant will be part of Iterable's Managed Services team, ensuring customers maximize their chances of reaching inboxes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide email deliverability consulting services for new and existing customers.
• Educate customers on email marketing best practices while offering deliverability support.
• Monitor customer performance using internal metrics and third-party delivery tools.
• Ensure customers have a smooth experience with Iterable's product, increasing their ROI.
• Collaborate with Support to analyze tickets, discover trends, and resolve potential issues.
• Monitor client satisfaction to develop strategies for retention and growth.
• Gather delivery data into account assessments and deliverability reports.
• Alert customers to potential problems and provide strategies to manage their reputation.
• Resolve email delivery issues with specific ISPs and mailbox providers.
• Build strong relationships through MAAWG to reinforce Iterable's industry position.
• Maintain trusted advisor relationships with each client.
• Contribute to Blogs and Webinars on email deliverability topics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in email deliverability consulting or support.
• 2+ years in a B2B customer-facing role in a tech or SaaS organization.
• Experience with third-party delivery tools (e.g., Validity Everest, eDataSource).
• High technical aptitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with ISP/domain-specific delivery policies and feedback loops.
• Strong familiarity with end-to-end email delivery concepts.
• Knowledge of CAN-SPAM/GDPR regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and a dedication to customer service.
• Previous experience with Mail Transfer Agent platforms (e.g., Sparkpost, Mailgun).
