The consultancy, listed under reference SSA-2026-SS-SSCD-1, seeks an experienced web development professional to strengthen digital knowledge-sharing platforms that support global efforts in agriculture, drought management, flood resilience, and climate adaptation.

Applications are open until 28 June 2026.

    Consultancy Overview

The assignment falls under WMO’s Sectoral Services Department and will be delivered remotely over a period of 11 months, with an estimated workload of 30 consultancy days.

The consultant will primarily focus on transforming the World Agrometeorological Information Service (WAMIS) into a more dynamic and comprehensive online repository for agricultural meteorology knowledge, training materials, operational resources, and technical guidance.

In addition, the consultant will support ongoing maintenance and technical enhancements for two globally recognized WMO initiatives:

    • Associated Programme on Flood Management (APFM)
