🧾 JOB PURPOSE

The Learning Facilitator will support the delivery of quality, inclusive accelerated basic education to out-of-school and over-age learners, ensuring safe learning environments and improved learning outcomes.

⚙️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

📚 Teaching & Learning

Deliver lessons using the ABEP curriculum
Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials
Conduct learner assessments and track progress
Promote inclusive and participatory learning

🤝 Community Engagement

Mobilize communities and support learner enrollment
Track attendance and follow up on absenteeism
Raise awareness on non-formal education

🏫 Stakeholder Collaboration

Engage with school authorities, community leaders, and government stakeholders
Refer vulnerable learners to appropriate support services

📊 Monitoring & Reporting

Maintain accurate class records and registers
Submit weekly/monthly reports
Use ODK tools (Android phone required) for data collection

🔄 Coordination

Attend trainings, meetings, and learning sessions
Collaborate with partners and field teams

🎓 REQUIREMENTS

Minimum NCE or Degree in Education or related field
At least 2 years teaching or community experience
Fluency in English and Hausa
Must reside in the target LGA/community
Ability to work with children and adolescents
Basic Android phone skills (for data reporting)
Commitment to safeguarding and humanitarian principles
