Thamani for Women and Youth Development Initiative is pleased to announce an open call for applications from passionate, committed, and impact-driven individuals who are eager to contribute to community development and social transformation. As an organization dedicated to empowering women, uplifting youth, and fostering inclusive growth, we are expanding our team and inviting qualified candidates to apply for the following positions:

• Finance Officer
• Programs Officer

Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or other related disciplines.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse teams and community settings.
• Be proficient in the use of basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Show a clear commitment to volunteerism, community service, and social impact initiatives.
• Be willing to learn, adapt, and grow within a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
• Exhibit strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
• Previous experience in volunteering, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), or community-based projects will be considered an added advantage.

Role Expectations

Successful candidates will be expected to contribute actively to the organization’s mission and operations. The Finance Officer will support financial planning, budgeting, record-keeping, and reporting processes, ensuring transparency and accountability in all financial activities. The Programs Officer will assist in designing, implementing, and monitoring development programs focused on women and youth empowerment, community engagement, and capacity building.

Both roles require individuals who are proactive, ethical, and capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders. Candidates should demonstrate a genuine interest in addressing social challenges and improving the lives of underserved populations.
