The Global Designing Cities Initiative (GDCI), launched in 2014, aims to transform streets worldwide. GDCI inspires leaders, informs practitioners, and invites communities to reimagine streets as places for people, focusing on safety, health, accessibility, and equity.
The team comprises designers, planners, and urban strategists dedicated to creating cities that prioritize people.
Their work, guided by the Global Street Design Guide, influences policies, builds local capacity, and scales impactful urban transformations.
GDCI seeks a highly organized and design-savvy Capacity Building Associate to support its global efforts in transforming streets through workshops, trainings, and learning programs.
The role reports to the Capacity Building Senior Manager and is integral to the Design and Research team.
The successful candidate will assist in coordinating capacity-building strategies, developing content, and supporting the delivery of engaging learning experiences tailored for global audiences.
