Field CISO / Technical Evangelist @Orca Security

Overview

Orca Security is seeking a Field CISO / Technical Evangelist, who will act as a trusted advisor to CISOs and security leaders. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and executive presence, providing actionable guidance on cloud security.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise CISOs and security leaders on reducing business risk with Orca's CNAPP capabilities.
• Support strategic deals by participating in executive conversations on architecture, positioning, and objections.
• Represent Orca as a thought leader at conferences and roundtables, sharing insights on cloud security trends.
• Relay customer needs, regulatory shifts, and competitive intelligence back to Product and Engineering.
• Serve as an executive sponsor for Orca’s Customer Advisory boards.
• Own customer enablement content strategy/user center strategy.
• Become an expert user of Orca Security with deep knowledge of the console and API.
• Contribute helper scripts and tools to Orca’s Github repository.
• Build relationships with CISO communities, analysts, and industry peer groups to enhance Orca's credibility.

Requirements

• 10+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience, including roles as a CISO, Deputy CISO, or senior security executive.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, including history, competition, acquisitions, and Gartner categories.
• Experience in technical product sales.
• Experience in creating and delivering content for webinars, webcasts, interviews, and panel discussions.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure and Platform as a Service Providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Able to communicate complex topics to both technical and business audiences.
• Engaging communicator with a passion for cloud technology.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
