A reputable recruitment firm is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Field Credit Officer on behalf of its client. The client is a leading Fintech Microfinance Bank operating across multiple states in Nigeria. The position is open to candidates across the following states Abia Adamawa Bayelsa Borno Cross River Delta Ebonyi Edo Enugu Imo Jigawa Kano Katsina Kebbi Lagos Mainland Nasarawa Niger Ogun Ondo Oyo Plateau Rivers Sokoto and Yobe. The role offers a monthly salary of 200000 Naira in addition to other benefits. Applicants must be 35 years or below.

The Field Credit Officer will be responsible for identifying and onboarding viable businesses within assigned locations to open business accounts with the microfinance bank. In addition, the role requires engaging customers to ensure active use of their accounts to qualify for credit facilities. The officer will also work to grow and manage a healthy loan portfolio.

The successful candidate will conduct credit assessments by reviewing loan requests and analyzing relevant financial and business data before recommending approval or rejection. The role also requires physical visits to business locations to evaluate operations. Moreover, the officer will review business records, assess inventory levels and understand business turnover.

In addition, the officer will monitor active loan portfolios to ensure timely repayment and continued account activity while maintaining profitability and meeting portfolio performance targets. The position also involves applying credit analysis principles. This includes the evaluation of key credit factors such as capacity character and capital before and after loan disbursement.

Applicants should demonstrate strong analytical skills communication abilities and the capacity to build and maintain relationships with business owners. Candidates must also be willing to conduct field visits and work within assigned geographical areas.
