Key Responsibilities

• Ensure effective financial management of a donor-funded humanitarian project.
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate recording and documentation of expenditures.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, expenditure analyses, and cash forecasts.
• Monitor budgets and identify variances, underspending, or financial risks.
• Review payment requests and supporting documentation for compliance.
• Process payments to suppliers, partners, and staff efficiently.
• Support partners with budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Maintain documentation and audit readiness for internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within an NGO or donor-funded project environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, reporting, and Nigerian statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting systems such as SUN.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
