    Job Summary

    Conservation Strategy Fund (CSF) is seeking a strategic and collaborative Global Communications Manager to coordinate with regionally-based communications officers and to advance the organization’s international brand identity.

    The role involves building external communications content, managing digital platforms, and supporting global marketing campaigns.

    The successful candidate will translate complex environmental economics and scientific research into impactful narratives, collaborate with a global team, and help expand CSF’s outreach and educational programs.

    Position Overview

    The Global Communications Manager is a vital leadership role within Conservation Strategy Fund’s global organization, responsible for maintaining and amplifying the organization’s brand worldwide.

    Reporting to the Associate Director of Operations, this position drives high-impact external communications, oversees global marketing initiatives, and collaborates across international teams.

    The role ensures consistent messaging across all offices, manages content production, and partners with the Numbers for Nature (N4N) Training Institute to promote professional development courses and training programs.

    Global Team Leadership & Strategic Alignment

    • Develop and implement global communications strategies aligned with CSF’s core brand identity
    • Support and build capacity among regional communications teams
    • Modernize internal communication systems, establish guidelines, and improve organizational efficiency

    Brand Stewardship & Content Production

    • Oversee the creation of external materials such as reports, newsletters, policy briefs, and infographics
    • Ensure quality control and brand consistency across all content
    • Manage media relations and proactively promote CSF’s visibility globally

    Multi-Channel Digital Marketing & Growth

    • Oversee and optimize CSF’s websites, multimedia archives, and social media platforms
    • Drive engagement through targeted email campaigns and newsletters
    • Manage CRM systems (such as HubSpot) for donor outreach and audience segmentation

    Numbers for Nature Training Institute Promotion

    • Coordinate with the training team to promote international courses and recruit participants
    • Support alumni engagement, track project outcomes, and showcase success stories

    Fundraising & Executive Support

    • Assist with fundraising campaigns and strategic communication collateral
    • Provide communication support to senior leadership, including the Executive Director

    Qualifications

    Required Experience & Education

    • 5+ years in communications, marketing, or public relations, with proven brand management experience
    • Leadership experience managing diverse teams across multiple regions

    Technical & Platform Skills

    • Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
    • Experience managing web content, multimedia archives, and digital marketing tools
    • Demonstrated ability to oversee publication lifecycle from concept to final delivery

    Core Competencies & Skills

    • Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex data into accessible narratives
    • Strong editing and proofreading abilities
    • Excellent cross-cultural collaboration and interpersonal skills
    • Highly organized with project management expertise

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in international non-profit, environmental conservation, or sustainable development sectors
    • Fluency or proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or Bahasa Indonesia
    • Background in promoting training programs or higher education courses

    Location & Travel

    This is a remote position requiring overlap with US East Coast and UK working hours. Hybrid arrangements in Washington, D.C. are possible but not mandatory.

    Travel to Conservation Strategy Fund’s regions may be available but is not required. Candidates must have legal right to work in their residence country; CSF cannot provide visa sponsorship.
