Overview
The Global Fund for Children is hiring a Global People and Culture Senior Manager to support its efforts in cultivating a vibrant organizational culture rooted in DEIA, wellbeing, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary coordinator for global P&C operations, including contracts management, HRIS development, and documentation.
- Collaborate with Operations and Finance teams to oversee onboarding and offboarding logistics, contracts, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records, ensuring information flow to leadership and managers.
- Develop and refine templates, workflows, and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with external PEO/EOR providers, ensuring onboarding, performance management, benefits coordination, and compliance are handled smoothly.
- Ensure all processes align with GFC’s organizational standards and policies.
- Serve as the first point of contact for routine policies, benefits, leave, and forms, providing initial guidance on employee relations concerns.
- Support managers with updated tools, templates, and process guidance.
- Collaborate with PEO/EOR partners to deliver clear communication on employment terms and benefits to global staff.
- Oversee and manage P&C projects, ensuring they meet timelines and strategic goals.
- Monitor progress across workstreams related to wellbeing, engagement, compensation, and staff development.
- Support investigations, employee relations, and documentation processes.
- Facilitate staff engagement and organizational development initiatives.
- Review, update, and advise on P&C policies and procedures, including those specific to different countries.
- Support evolution of performance management and staff development systems.
- Navigate governance, legal, and compliance requirements in collaboration with legal counsel and governance teams.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and orientation processes.
- Promote clarity and accessibility of P&C processes across diverse teams worldwide.
- Identify operational improvements and recommend solutions.
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing complex global P&C operations, ideally within international NGOs or distributed organizations.
- Deep understanding of employment laws, compliance, and international employment practices.
- Proven experience managing PEO/EOR relationships and supporting diverse employment structures.
- Strong skills in HR systems management, workflow design, and process optimization.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- High emotional intelligence, intercultural competence, and ability to build trust across diverse cultures and time zones.
- Demonstrable integrity, confidentiality, tact, sound judgment, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, anti-racism, and staff wellbeing.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative, multicultural environment.
- HR-related qualifications and/or membership with recognized professional HR bodies.
- Experience as an HR generalist supporting global teams (preferred).
- Knowledge of HRIS tools and digital workflow systems (preferred).
- Experience supporting DEIA initiatives or organizational change management (preferred).
- Fluency in multiple languages (preferred).
- Additional relevant certifications or training (preferred).
