Key Responsibilities

Monitoring, tracking, and reconciling financial data for grants and contracts
Preparing monthly budget-to-actual reports
Maintaining budget integrity within the organization’s accounting system
Supporting financial oversight of sub-awards and funding allocations
Ensuring compliance with funder regulations and organizational policies
Reconciling sub-award reports and verifying financial accuracy
Preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
Assisting with audit preparation and financial statement development
Identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of three years in a finance role within a non-profit or international development setting
Experience with financial reconciliation and reporting
Familiarity with enterprise-level accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong data analysis and financial reporting capabilities
Knowledge of non-profit accounting standards such as GAAP or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal)
