Overview
The Group on Earth Observations (GEO) is hiring for two remote consultancy roles to assist in supporting the Global Ecosystems Atlas, which aims to create a comprehensive resource on the global distribution, condition, and dynamics of ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Blueprint Architecture Design:
- Develop and refine Phase 2 program structure, defining modular workstreams.
- Identify interdependencies and implementation pathways.
- Workshop Integration and Synthesis:
- Participate in co-design workshops and capture outcomes.
- Identify gaps and validate technical feasibility.
- Technical and Programmatic Elaboration:
- Develop methodological frameworks and governance arrangements.
- Elaborate the program’s theory of change.
- Financial and Operational Structuring:
- Prepare work packages, budgets, and resource mobilization strategies.
- Articulate measurable outcomes for donor engagement.
- Drafting and Delivery:
- Prepare drafts of the Phase 2 Blueprint and incorporate feedback.
- Deliver the final Blueprint with supporting documents.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in relevant fields or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in large-scale environmental programs.
- Strong knowledge of ecological monitoring and environmental accounting.
- Ability to produce donor-ready program documents.
- Excellent written and oral English; other languages advantageous.
