    Overview

    HOPE not hate is seeking a Campaigns Officer to support efforts in combating anti-climate politics propagated by the far right.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with community organizers to identify how the far right influences climate change ambitions.
    • Devise and implement campaigns to build pressure locally for environmental protection and community resilience.
    • Act as a liaison between partners and research teams to monitor anti-climate sentiment and local government responses.
    • Utilize data and insights to identify effective interventions for communities.
    • Represent HOPE not hate in coalitions and partnerships with climate and environmental organizations.

    Requirements

    • Experience in planning, developing, and executing campaigns at local and national levels; climate sector experience is a plus.
    • Proven ability to work in partnerships, manage stakeholders, and build impactful campaigns.
    • Respectful understanding of communities vulnerable to far-right influences and the issues they face.
    • Emotional resilience and capacity to work effectively under pressure in challenging contexts.

    Benefits

    Salary of £39,000 – £41,000, with benefits including a nine-day fortnight, 25 days annual leave, a staff learning fund, enhanced parental benefits, and flexible working arrangements.
