Overview
The Institute for Human Rights & Business (IHRB) is seeking experienced Researchers/Writers to lead the next phase of the JUST Stories initiative, focusing on community-led adaptation in climate action.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews on adaptation and resilience.
- Identify case studies through networks and open calls.
- Develop frameworks for effective and just adaptation.
- Design ethical research methodologies and conduct interviews.
- Produce publication-ready stories and collaborate on multimedia outputs.
- Support cross-sector engagement and synthesize lessons for policy and business practices.
Requirements
- At least seven years in research and writing roles.
- Strong background in climate adaptation and resilience.
- Experience with community-led approaches.
- Proven ability to produce rigorous written content.
- Exceptional storytelling and analytical writing skills.
- Cultural sensitivity and strong organisational abilities.
Benefits
- Compensation of approximately £70,000 total budget.
- Consultancy agreement under UK law.
