The Institute for Human Rights & Business (IHRB) is seeking experienced Researchers/Writers to lead the next phase of the JUST Stories initiative, focusing on community-led adaptation in climate action.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews on adaptation and resilience.
• Identify case studies through networks and open calls.
• Develop frameworks for effective and just adaptation.
• Design ethical research methodologies and conduct interviews.
• Produce publication-ready stories and collaborate on multimedia outputs.
• Support cross-sector engagement and synthesize lessons for policy and business practices.

Requirements

• At least seven years in research and writing roles.
• Strong background in climate adaptation and resilience.
• Experience with community-led approaches.
• Proven ability to produce rigorous written content.
• Exceptional storytelling and analytical writing skills.
• Cultural sensitivity and strong organisational abilities.

Benefits

• Compensation of approximately £70,000 total budget.
• Consultancy agreement under UK law.
