Overview

The Investor Engagement Manager will lead efforts to promote the inclusion of alternative proteins in investment portfolios, facilitating capital flow for industry growth and commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with investors, corporate venture arms, and financial institutions.
• Craft and implement strategies to mobilize capital for alternative protein scale-up.
• Secure and deliver presentations on investment trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with external partners to analyze and expand the public investment landscape.
• Represent GFI at industry events and in media to promote alternative protein investments.
• Create educational materials on R&D, commercialization, and infrastructure funding.
• Share market data and investment insights to shape narratives around alternative proteins.
• Supervise the Startup Innovation Lead, providing strategic direction and professional development.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment, finance, or investor engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related fields; MBA preferred.
• Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of the investment industry, including venture capital and startup fundraising.

• Salary Range: $106,828.02 – $111,016.88 (dependent on experience)
