Invictus Africa is currently recruiting for the position of Data Research Officer as part of its ongoing expansion. This opportunity is based in Abuja and is suited for professionals with strong experience in research and data analysis who are passionate about driving social impact through evidence based insights.

The Data Research Officer will be responsible for designing and implementing both qualitative and quantitative research strategies that support advocacy policymaking and program effectiveness. The role involves ensuring that research outputs are credible timely and aligned with organizational goals while translating complex data into actionable insights.

Candidates must have a minimum of three years of proven experience in both quantitative and qualitative research. Strong expertise in data analysis is required along with proficiency in tools such as Kobo Toolbox ODK Platform Microsoft Excel R and SQL. Applicants should demonstrate attention to detail the ability to work independently and collaboratively and strong time management skills.

Key responsibilities include conducting research studies collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources interpreting findings and providing recommendations to stakeholders. The role also involves managing data systems to ensure accuracy and security supporting the development of reports and presentations and collaborating with program teams to integrate research into policy and program design. In addition the officer will monitor and evaluate project outcomes using data driven approaches.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical thinking communication skills and the ability to present findings clearly in user friendly formats. A proactive approach and commitment to meeting deadlines are essential for success in this role.
